Acceptance of Terms 🤝
By accessing ResuMate AI, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application. This platform is part of a university validation experiment for the "Data Driven Entrepreneurship" project.
1Description of Service
ResuMate AI provides an online resume ATS-readiness scanner and keyword suggestion assistant utilizing LLMs (third-party cloud AI processing APIs).
- Scan Limitations: Standard users are allowed a maximum of 3 free scans per session/IP to prevent API key exhaustion and abuse.
- Premium Scans: Advanced features or scan limit resets are gated behind a simulated paywall (waitlist registration) for business validation purposes.
2User Obligations & Content
When using ResuMate AI, you agree to:
- Only upload document files in PDF format that represent your own professional profile or mock resumes for test purposes.
- Not upload content that contains malicious scripts, viruses, or spam.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks on the application's APIs.
3No Guarantee of Outcomes & Disclaimers
⚠️ Educational & Simulation Project: ResuMate AI is an assessment project and is provided on an "as-is" basis.
We do not guarantee that utilizing the keywords, formatting advice, or ATS scores suggested by our service will lead to:
- Passing actual third-party ATS screening algorithms.
- Receiving job interview invitations.
- Gaining employment.
ATS architectures differ widely across HR departments. We recommend using our feedback as a generalized guide alongside human career guidance.
4Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of the text contents of the resume you upload. ResuMate AI and its contributors own all site layouts, logos, branding, frontend designs, and analysis prompts. You may not copy or reproduce the branding code without written permission.
